Mergers and Acquisitions (FIN 460) - This course presents the theory and evidence of corporate acquisitions and restructuring activities. Topics include the foundations of mergers and restructuring, the valuation of assets, various means of financing acquisitions, defensive strategies, as well as post-merger, acquisition, and takeover performance.

Focused on innovative receivables, payables, and information reporting solutions to enhance clients' working capital, automate processing, and transition from paper to electronic payments. Solutions included integrated receivables, electronic safes, instant payments (RTP/FedNow/Zelle/Push to Card), same-day ACH, APIs, payments outsourcing, and fraud prevention services such as Early Warning’s Account Validation Service (AVS). Led client-facing project teams in the design, testing, and controlled rollout of three new Wells Fargo products: AVS, ATM Bill Payments, and Integrated Receivables.  Proficient in SWIFT and ISO 20022 formats used by banks to interface with treasury workstations and ERP platforms like Workday, NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, and Quantum. 

Mike is also a MSF certified motorcycle safety instructor for the CT Department of Transportation.
